At Beachside Holiday Park in Westward Ho!, Devon, we offer wheelchair friendly accommodation to help you experience an independent and stress free holiday.
Our wheelchair friendly Albatross accommodation has been specifically built to make your stay with us just that little bit easier.
Access is via a ramp and all doors and corridors have been widened. Units, handrails, switches, sockets and appliance controls have also been lowered. Should you need it, a bed hoist can be found in the main bedroom. There is also a ‘wet room’ complete with shower seat.
This accommodation is dog friendly.

Our Albatross Wheelchair Accessible Pet Friendly caravan has been purpose built and includes a number of features such as ramp access, wider doorways and sliding doors in order to help make your stay with us relaxing and comfortable.
The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen provides plenty of space to allow free movement around this holiday home. There is a comfy seating area where you can relax and a dining area where the whole family can come together to enjoy a meal.
The galley kitchen is wide enough to allow wheelchair access and is well equipped with low level units, sockets, switches and appliance controls. There is also a cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave and an ample supply of utensils & cutlery.
The Albatross Wheelchair Accessible has two bedrooms, the twin bedroom has two 3ft single beds and the Master bedroom has two 3ft single beds that can be pushed together to make a double when required. There is a hand grab above the bed to assist when pulling yourself up.
The wet room shower is equipped with hand rails, shower seat, WC and wash hand basin that are all at a lower height to enable access to wheelchair users.
This holiday home is centrally heated to ensure you are comfortable all year round. Pillows & duvets are provided along with bed linen. If you require assistance with bed making then please let us know.
